Nature is what nourishes me.

I think we all get to a period in our lives when we start to ask ourselves, “What am I doing with my life?” I asked myself that for so long, until I realised that question was tightly tied to capitalistic ideals and determining our worth by how productive we are. I found a better question to be, “What nourishes me?”

My answer was simple, and probably the same as many other people’s answer: Nature. Goddamn nature is so good. I can’t believe that walking through a forest actually works on my neurodivergent brain. How dare all the science be absolutely correct!
